Day 26

The most powerful prayers come from people with their backs against the wall. Adversity strips away pretense and pride, calling for us to put ourselves in the hands of God. When all is smooth my prayers lose their passion. When things get rough, I pray with all my heart. Panic pushes me to prayer-in part because I don’t know what else to do.
