Solitude can happen anywhere-a bench in your backyard, a quiet room in your home, a spot at the seashore, a walk in the mountains. Yet solitude is not a place; it’s a frame of mind. The desert opens my heart, for when I am most thirsty I am most ready to drink, when I am most weary I am most open to help, and when I am most alone I am most willing to face the depth of my neediness.
What do you think?
